Unveiling the Silent Poem: A journey within

“Unveiling the Silent Poem: A journey within.” (In English)

A 5-day retreat with Sky in Portugal

As many of Sky’s students know, Poetry is part of his world as he often shares the pearls of his writtings in his classes. This retreat is designed to help participants journey into their subconscious and access their creativity, through the practice of  yoga, meditation, pranayama, poetry writing/reading and journaling.

Practicing stillness, silence, breath, and reflective writing, the retreat will guide participants to uncover the quiet often hidden layers of their inner world— magically unveiling the poetry that resides within.

In the quiet spaces of our lives lies an untapped reservoir of creativity, truth, and self-expression. “Unveiling the Silent Poem: A Journey Within” is an immersive 5-day retreat designed to guide you into these hidden depths, where the silent poetry of your soul resides. Embrace this journey of stillness and self-discovery, where movement meets mindfulness, and your creativity is set free.

BIO

Sky Akasha, Sky’s journey in yoga spans over three decades, rooted in a commitment to the transformative principles of Hatha Yoga. Since 1991, he has studied and taught various yoga styles, always returning to the foundational practices that embody simplicity and depth. Drawing on complementary disciplines like Qi Gong, Ayurveda, and the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, Sky’s approach weaves together a holistic tapestry of wisdom and practice.

Since 2001, his ongoing study of Vedanta with esteemed teachers Swami Vagishananda, Radha, and Swami Dayananda has provided him with profound insights into yoga as a path toward balance, harmony, and inner fulfillment. His teaching style is organic and responsive, always tailored to honor the unique needs of his students. Known for his lighthearted yet deeply knowledgeable delivery, Sky’s classes combine thoughtful instruction, humor, and a sense of sacred connection, making each session both enriching and uplifting.

A lesser-known gift of Sky’s is his ability to craft beautiful, evocative poems, which he shares spontaneously in his classes. His poetry has a way of weaving magic into the practice, offering students a rare glimpse into the deeper layers of self-expression and inner truth. This retreat is a unique opportunity to work with Sky, as it celebrates the integration of movement, breath, and creative expression—an experience not to be missed for those seeking to explore and honor their inner voice.
